Other Pest Prevention Tips

Make sure to remove any and all standing water from your property as it is a breeding ground for mosquitos. For those with ponds or bird baths, add a fountain to keep the water circulating or fish that can feed on the mosquito larvae.

Mosquitos are generally not strong fliers, so for an added layer of protection place a fan near you to maintain a gentle breeze.

Mosquitos hate smoke and heat, so when in doubt, make sure at the end of the day to gather around a firepit with your friends and family. For added protection, install a border of pest-repellent plants and enjoy your summer nights!
