    There are several services that may or may not be included in a bid price. Salt and salt application costs are just two examples. Make sure your vendor’s bid has clearly spelled out what is included.  The additional cost of services that have not been included in a bid can be substantial.

    The cost for shoveling and plowing starting at a 1” trigger will be somewhat higher that the same services at a 2” trigger.

    • Do they have additional or larger equipment to help in the event of breakdowns or catastrophic snow events?
